California Landscape Metrics Website

A comprehensive set of mapped geospatial data layers consolidating metrics for California. Developed by an interagency team from USFS, CAL FIRE, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, and others to support wildfire resilience and landscape restoration planning. Version 5.0 (August 2024) includes 199 metrics organized across 10 resilience pillars: Air Quality, Biodiversity Conservation, Carbon Sequestration, Economic Diversity, Fire-Adapted Communities, Fire Dynamics, Forest and Shrubland Resilience, Social and Cultural Well-Being, Water Security, and Wetland Integrity. Most data layers are available at 30m resolution.
