Aerosol Data: Particulate Matter (PM2.5) mass and Black Carbon (BC) concentrations and Gas phase Data: Carbon monoxide and Ozone measured at Eglin Air force base in 2023 during prescribed burning events.

The data is collected at one Georgia Tech instrumented trailer located at three different locations (shown in the locations information) from March 10 till 20, 2023. Trailer was set in the mentioned locations based on the planned burn unit G25 on March 11 and 16, and unit G20 on March 19. This data was collected to improve the characterization of O3 and PM formation in prescribed fire plumes through measurement. Particulate matter with aerodynamic diameters less than 2.5 µm (PM2.5) mass was measured using a Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance (TEOM) series 1400a ambient particulate monitor (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and Black Carbon (BC) concentration was measured using a 7-wavelength aethalometer model AE33 (Magee Scientific). Carbon monoxide (CO) was measured using IR analyzer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, model 48C). Ozone (O3) was measured using UV analyzer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, model 49C). This dataset is part of the Wildland Fire Science Initiative (WFSI) research burn campaign held at Eglin Air Force Base from 3-11-2023 to 3-19-2023. In addition, pre- and post-fire data collection occurred before and after these dates.
